    I INADVERTENTLY HIKED IN THESE SHOES

    I almost sent these shoes back just because I thought I would definitely get blisters from all of the straps involved but I’m a reef lover and decided to give these a try. I don’t usually leave reviews, but these shows are FANTASTIC! I’ve worn them in an infinite amount of settings… including hiking! I went to a concert at red rocks not knowing we’d have to hike about a mile to the venue, and NO blisters or really even discomfort. That’s when I was beyond impressed! If it helps to know, I’ve had these shoes over 8 months so I’m confident in saying they are the BOMB!

    They gave me blisters in several places on my feet for wearing through the grocery store. I adjusted them so they might stop rubbing and just could not get them to fit right. Also, the imprinted reef logo on the bottom of my heel is aggravating and uncomfortable. I can feel it and it’s very unpleasant, I don’t know why anyone would want to walk on anything that isn’t smooth.

Material & Care
Genuine Suede (Animal-Derived)
  • Use a dry, soft-bristled brush or clean cloth to gently remove surface dirt.
  • Clean suede using a suede-safe cleaner, following the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • When cleaning or brushing, always work in one direction to help preserve the suede fibers.
  • Allow to air dry in the shade at room temperature.
  • For mixed-materials areas (textile, rubber, EVA, Cork), mix a small amount of mild clear soap with warm water, dip a soft sponge or soft-bristled brush into the solution and gently clean the area, rinse the sponge with clean water and remove any excess soap, allow to air dry completely before wearing.


    • Avoid:
  • Excess water or soaking.
  • Aggressive scrubbing.
  • Direct heat or sunlight.
  • Always test any cleaning method on a small, hidden area before cleaning the entire product.
