I really loved EVERYTHING about this sandal. Super stylish and the color was perfect. BUT, after wearing for just a few mins in my kitchen during the initial try-on, I could feel the plastic pocket for the bottle opener pressing into the arch of my foot from under the sandal. I could tell within minutes that this would not be the ideal sandal for me if on my feet for more than 15 mins.
Pretty sad about having to return them. Wish REEF would make these without the bottle opener.

People from REEF: I love you, BUT after being a user and super fan of your sandals since 1984, and after owning more than 50 pairs and styles in the last 40 years, and having pretty high expectations on these particular model, you have to fix some stuff in these...
The front strap/band is WAY TOO LONG, so long that you lost half of the velcro fastener making that strap loose on your fingers adjustment, plus, those rubber tabs/pullers at the end are totally worthless with such a long strap, so I just cut them.
Then, if the strap on the front, which is the same that goes over your foot and then anchored at the inner side of your foot, it is complicated to adjust because is too long as well, so the porpuse of giving you support/adjustment and "grab" your foot, you can't achieve it because if you tighten the strap at the front band, you will end having a long flapping wing on your sides.
Apart from the odd looking, it will loose its grip from the velcro (you have to learn a lot from TEVA in how to design the straps in this type of "hiking/sport" sandals, or simply go to your archives and look for the strap design solution of the "REEF R5" multipoint adjustable 5 strap sport sandals (look at the attached picture) that strap solution is a design masterpiece and that is why you patented in 2000 and unfortunately it was only available for that year and not any more. I have (literally) the last pair available in the world in 2018, and I still have and use it regularly.
