    Short break-in

    I received the Reef Draftsman as a replacement and was a little reluctant at first. I didn’t think they would compare to the other premium leather sandals I’ve owned. After a short break-in period, though, they really won me over.

    They have the premium leather look and feel I wanted, but what I especially like is the walking surface. It provides good traction and doesn’t get slippery underfoot like some leather sandals can. They’re comfortable, well made, and have gotten better as they’ve broken in.

    I’m very happy with the Draftsman and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality leather sandal.

    Favorite sandals

    I beat these up pretty good. On second pair and will buy more when needed. Probably went a little longer than I should have on first pair, 5 years or so. Pics for reference lol

Description

Life is too short to break in sandals and wait for a beverage, so we addressed both with the REEF Draftsmen. Full grain, ethically sourced leather lines the cushioned footbed, with high arch support. The straps are stitch-free and leather lined as well, for instant comfort. And when the moment arrives, you’ve got a bottle opener in the bottom of this sandal, along with a non-marking gum rubber outsole. Total package.

Material & Care
Genuine Leather (Animal-Derived)
  • Use a soft, dry cloth or a dry, soft-bristled brush to remove surface dirt and debris.
  • Dampen a soft cloth or sponge and clean the leather using saddle soap or a leather cleaner, following the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Wipe with a clean, damp cloth to remove any remaining soap residue.
  • Allow to air dry in the shade at room temperature, away from direct heat or sunlight.
  • For mixed-materials areas (textile, rubber, EVA, Cork), mix a small amount of mild clear soap with warm water, dip a soft sponge or soft-bristled brush into the solution and gently clean the area, rinse the sponge with clean water and remove any excess soap, allow to air dry completely before wearing.


    • Avoid:
  • Soaking or machine washing.
  • Harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes.
  • Direct heat sources such as dryers or radiators.
  • Always test any cleaning method on a small, hidden area before cleaning the entire product.
