The El Jefe is a comfortable shoe and I think with one alteration it could be a great shoe. It needs air holes for ventilation. Most shoes in this design have either holes on the side or on the tops of the shoe. When you first put them on its incredibly comfortable and there is no need for a break-in period. I didn't feel any "hot spots" as I wore them for a few days. The only thing is, I am wearing them in the summer time and as I walk around and it gets hot, your feet like they are suffocating. Just a small change that will go a long way. I'll still continue to wear the shoe and I suspect in the winter time they will be perfect.
