It’s Sunny Somewhere

We have always known the beach is a restorative place that makes us feel free. Turns out, there's a lot of great science to back this up.
The salty ocean air contains negative ions that improve immune function and reduce inflammation. The sun boosts energy and mood while helping us feel more focused. Listening to the sounds of the ocean calms your nervous system while quieting your mind. The minerals in the ocean water reduce pain and improve skin elasticity.
It's important to note that while we can't always take our body to the beach, we can still get the benefits by taking our mind there by practicing what we call the 'Beach Brain' technique. To make it easy for you, we've teamed up with brain fitness and stress mastery expert Dr. Heidi Hanna to create 3 custom essential oil blends that mimic the benefits you get when you are at the beach.
There are two primary ways to inhale these beachy blends. You can use them in a diffuser to help spread the scent throughout your home or office or apply 1 to 2 drops to palms and take 3 to 5 deep belly breaths for instant relaxation and bliss. Use the blend anytime you need a beach break throughout your day.
If you choose to put the blends directly on your skin (other than palms of hands) be sure to dilute well with a good carrier oil like Fractionated Coconut Oil or Grapeseed oil first as some citrus oils can make the skin sensitive to sunlight. Pick your recipe below to create your unique beach blend that’s right for you.
A balance of earthy aromas mixed with gentle citrus notes help to restore focus and attention in the brain. Woodsy sensations promote clear breathing pathways which help to restore better blood flow to the whole brain. A few drops of Frankincense help to reduce pain and inflammation, boosts immunity, aids in digestion and calms anxiety
Like catching a great wave, this meditative aroma helps you create healthier balance and harmony. Nudging both yin and yang energy, the scents of spicy citrus aroma dance with the essence of Ylang-ylang, to nudge your nervous system into a healthier rhythm.
The sun mixture is cheerful and uplifting, which makes it a great way to recharge from mental exhaustion. These tones are citrus-fresh, slightly sweet, and great to tame the modern monkey mind.
Apply 1 to 2 drops to palms and take 3 to 5 deep belly breaths for instant relaxation and bliss. Also, works great in a diffuser to fill up the whole room. Use the blend any time you need a beach break throughout your day.
*Warning! we do not recommend putting too much of any citrus based oil on your skin if your planning on going out in the sun for those who have sensitive skin.
