Team Rider
Mikala Jones
Mikala has traveled the globe, in search of exotic surf spots and exploring new cultures since the age of 12. When he's not on the road, in an airplane or on a boat in search of perfect surf, he splits his time between his homes on the North Shore of Oahu and Canggu Beach, Bali.
Surf Team Manager, Jay 'Bottle' Thompson, says, "Mikala's versatility is one of his biggest strengths. He adapts to all conditions, from big airs to massive open face carves, from 1 foot to 20 foot, he is consistently one of the stand out surfers around the globe."
Surfing since the age of two, and growing up with his pick of Rocky Point, Pipe and Backdoor certainly fine-tuned Mikala's skills, and primed him for all of his epic adventures from the North Shore and abroad.
"Mikala is one of the most respected Hawaiians on the North Shore," Bottle continued. "He has gained this respect by not only being one of the best surfers to come out of Hawaii, but also through his humble personality."
