The results are in. The final stop of the Texas Wakeboard Tour has come and gone. The season is over and once again Reef has ended up on top. The Texas Wakeboard Tour was stoked to partner with some established regional promoters who already run successful annual events to create a true “series” with the ultimate goal of crowning the top riders in the region in each division. Events in the series included the “Mid-Summer Classic” in Beaumont, TX; “The H-Town Showdown” in Houston; “Wake the Desert” in San Angelo, TX; The “Southern Plains Festival” up in Oklahoma and the Dallas Wakeboarding.com annual event in Dallas-Fort Worth. These regional events were “qualifiers” for one big FINAL EVENT at the conclusion of the season in 2006 - The Nissan Southwest Wakefest presented by Nissan North America.

The BIG SHOW that all the regional riders/competitors wanted to attend… a huge contest/party at the end of the summer with over-the-top cash and prizes, music, additional off-the-water activities, etc. but it’s not open to anyone…participants had to qualify by finishing top two (2) in their respective division

When it was all said and done in the PRO division 2 of Reef's regional team riders ended up in 1st and 2nd place. Congrats to Reef's own Tommy Fooshee (2nd place overall) and Andrew Dyrhood (1st place overall) for taking home top honors on this year's Texas Wake Tour. Keep it up boys!
