All year we wait for this moment. The North Shore is our paradise found.

Every November the Seven-Mile Miracle is the gathering ground for the world’s greatest surf prodigies. We flock to this surf haven not just to find that perfect wave, but to be surrounded by the Hawaiian Spirit. We congregate to talk stories, laugh and smile with friends that we haven’t seen since last year. On the North Shore it’s easy to become accustomed to the mana, the energy that’s recognized by Hawaiians as the universal power that bonds us together. Although we are competitors in the water, on land everyone is a brother, a sister, or cousin. It’s here that we’re all part of the same ohana, one that’s bonded by essence of aloha.
