Sterling Spencer

Sterling Spencer hails from the West Coast of Florida, and has made a career out of dominating punchy two-footers on the Panhandle. Since the Gulf doesn’t constantly pump, he’s logged some serious frequent flyer miles seeking more challenging conditions to take him to the next level.

Hailing from an East Coast surfing family legacy, he was a standout at an early age, winning four consecutive East Coast Championship titles. He continues to surf select competitions around the world.

Sterling was a standout in Billabong’s “Filthy Habits” where he palled around the world with legends Occy, Shane Dorian, and Donovan Frankenrieter, giving audiences a taste for his graceful style and loveable oddball personality.

What started out as a pet project, Sterling’s combination of freesurfing and off-beat comedy videos have become his calling. Through pinchmysalt.tv and his own release “Surf Madness,” Sterling is redefining the traditional role of a pro surfer.
